TREEFLOWER YOGA: A compassionate yoga practice in the Kripalu tradition. Treeflower yoga is a blissful blend of inspiration from Vinyasa Flow, Iyengar, Hatha, and Ashtanga yoga traditions designed to stretch, relax, motivate, challenge, and empower the students present in the room each class. You are encouraged to listen to your body and do what is available to you each time you practice, exploring the shapes your body can make, and discovering your inner strength. The motto of Treeflower Yoga is "Yoga for All, We All Are One!" because students are encouraged to discover their own individual practice while encouraging one another in an environment which builds community and positive self esteem.
GUIDED MEDITATION: Students relax and follow their breath, focusing inward. Guided imagery is offered to take the mind down a path of healing, loving oneself, and inner discovery. Meditations are designed to be motivational toward growing from inner strength and discovering, accepting, and embracing self-care, self-love, and self-reliance. Chakra Visualizations, Mantras, and Affirmations are offered. Acknowledgment is made of the interconnectedness of all living things.
SOUND MEDITATION: Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls ring out as the playful sounds of a tank drum and chimes add a mystical element to your meditation. Background music and additional sounds are incorporated to transport you to a deeply meditative state of complete relaxation. Sometimes students are even relaxed enough to fall asleep, which is perfectly fine as your subconscious will absorb the effects of the sounds and your body will still take in the benefits of the vibration and positive energy that the singing bowls ring out.
RESTORATIVE YOGA: The yoga of relaxation. Give yourself a much needed time-in to slow down as you breathe, let go, and soften into a series of prop supported postures designed to create an opportunity to gently release, relax, and melt away stress and tension. This is an inward focus practice of surrender, relaxation, and meditative exploration. Class begins with centering, connection to the breath, gentle warm-ups, and a prop tutorial before sinking deeply into the practice. Postures are accompanied by meditations, visualizations, and/or singing bowl and chime sound bath. Students are invited to bring a scarf or eye cover.
TEEN YOGA: Yoga for Stress Management is offered to Teens ages 12-17. A modified version of the traditional Treeflower Yoga style catered to building strength, focus, balance, and awareness of the growing, changing body. Strong focus on meditative and breathing techniques to help teens manage stress and calm the mind. Class ends with savasana, sound meditation, and guided imagery to help promote self-esteem, self-love, self-care, acknowledging their value, and encouraging self-expression.

Parking is free after 6pm on the street and in the lot behind our building. We have a main entrance at ground level in the front of the building or you can enter from the back parking lot and find us one flight up. Please BUZZ "YOGA" so we can buzz you in.
